 In 2012 the Government of the HKSAR set up a 1 billion dedicated fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD). The project "Synergising Hong Kong ICT Hub with Mainland Businesses" is financed by this fund and led by the Hong Kong Internet Service Providers Association (HKISPA). It aims to promote Hong Kong branded information and communications technology services, especially those related to data centre to mainland enterprises in order to achieve "Win-Win Cooperation • Using Hong Kong data centre services to create opportunities for mainland enterprises".
